  • Organize your GME Department
    structural charts and personnel. We’ll help you establish the Graduate Medical Education Committee, including its meetings documentation.

- Rural Health Clinics (“RHCs”) and other rural provider settings for the creation and operation of rural training track (“RTT”) programs, which typically require affiliations with teaching hospitals.

General Consulting Service Approach

Through a team-oriented interprofessional approach, our team works with healthcare institutions by providing custom consulting related to graduate Medical Education. We help these institutions to become sponsoring institutions and to put together their new GME programs, improving existing programs, or innovating to accomplish successful site visits accreditation results. We also help these institutions to maintain their GME organizational infrastructure, operations and accreditation status.

Which Programs' Medical Specialties?

Our team is skilled to assist any institution to apply for any program that provides training in any medical specialty or subspecialty. 

Our Consulting Services

  1. Organization of the GME Division infrastructure including the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) meetings and advice about the appropriate documentation of the minutes for subsequent reviews.
  2. Establishment of the institutional policies and programs manuals of policies and procedures (compliant with the requirements)
  3. Institutional Accreditation. Our team helps the DIO to prepare the application in compliance with the requirements.
  4. New Program Application (any specialty)  including forms, attachments, policies, rotations, PLAs, program curriculum and more.
  5. Program Accreditation Site visit. We work with your DIO, Program Director, Program Coordinator, Faculty, and Residents to conduct a prepare them for site visits. any jitters and fully prepare you for a successful ACGME site visit.
  6. Continued Accreditation Site Visits. Our team helps the institution complete the application for continued accreditation of a program in the initial accreditation cycle. This includes addressing citations, preparing the application, review of the application, with annotated notes, corrections, and recommendations, review of all required documents, forms, and attachments, and any other required GME data, including policies and procedures.
  7. Monitoring your GME department operations to maintain accreditation. This includes reapplications for adverse accreditation status or warning. 
  8. Maintaining Scholarly Activities and research projects of residents and faculty members through affiliated partners' programs.
  9. Annual Institutional Review. Our team develops your protocol to use for your annual institutional review (AIR) in compliance with the requirements by identifying the issues and areas of concern, organizing and awarding high-level data, developing the goals, and helping you implement the action plan, including the annual report to be presented by the DIO to the governing body.
  10. Annual Programs Evaluations. Our team helps your Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) to develop a process to document the Annual Program Evaluation (APE) to evaluate the effectiveness of your program’s curriculum, address areas of non-compliance and assist with implementation of program improvements based on expected outcomes.
  11. CLER Visits. The team helps you assess your institutional processes and identify milestones and areas for improvement within the six focus areas (patient safety, health care quality, care transitions, supervision, duty hours and fatigue management and mitigation, and professionalism) to ensure that your institution demonstrates the appropriate learning environment. 
  12. Special Reviews for underperforming programs if applicable .
  13. Self-Study visits.
  14. Annual Didactic Program schedule for any program.
